46-Year-Old Hector Figueroa Otero Fatally Injured in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident
A tragic event occurred on Tuesday 6th night when Hector Figueroa Otero, a 46-year-old resident of Delano, lost his life in a severe collision on northbound Highway 99 at the 13th Avenue off-ramp in Baskersfield, California.

According to investigators from the California Highway Patrol, Otero entered the highway and deliberately positioned himself directly in the path of an approaching vehicle.
