Our dedication to justice extends beyond the courtroom and into the communities we serve. As a family-owned law firm, we believe in making a meaningful impact through philanthropy, advocacy, and hands-on support. Whether it’s uplifting underserved children, supporting educational programs, or providing aid to those in crisis, our commitment to giving back is a fundamental part of who we are. We take pride in standing with organizations that align with our values, fostering a stronger, more compassionate world.
Our firm proudly supports Maman NonProfit, an organization rooted in the values of Tzedakah (charity) and Chesed (kindness). In the wake of Israel’s recent conflicts, our founding attorney, Alex Tofer, stepped up to host Maman’s first gala, raising critical funds for soldiers, survivors, hostage families, widows, and orphans. This initiative helped provide trauma support, safety equipment, and healing delegations for those affected. Beyond fundraising, Alex’s philanthropy extends to uniting communities, standing against antisemitism, and championing interfaith dialogue. His leadership continues to uplift countless individuals, embodying the spirit of giving.
We are proud to support local organizations that make a meaningful difference. Our firm contributes to NGOs such as Maman Nonprofit, Lanai Road Elementary School, Sama Ka Na Foundation, Inc., and the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Tri County.
Education is a cornerstone of opportunity, and Tofer & Associates is deeply invested in supporting local schools. Lanai Road Elementary School holds special significance for our firm, as it is where Alex Tofer’s children attended. Through annual donations and active parent involvement, we help enhance student programs, extracurricular activities, and school events. The school fosters an inclusive and diverse environment, encouraging parent participation in everything from PE to fairs and carnivals. Alex’s wife continues to volunteer regularly.
